Importing Text

When you import text, you can override the text descriptors in the text file by specifying options in the Text Import Settings dialog box, shown in Figure 2 .

On import, the settings specified in the dialog box are applied to all imported samples. To display this dialog box programmatically, you can call the MovieImportDoUserDialog function, described in Inside Macintosh: QuickTime Components .
